Watch Out Scicon - Here Comes Ashlie!!!
February 14, 2012 - Ashlie headed off for Scicon today. Scicon is a science and conservation camp in Tulare County. 6th graders get to go there for part of their science class and spend 4 days. When Ashlie first heard about Scicon she thought it stood for Science and Conversation - she thought she was really going to do well with the conversation part!

Jan 21, 2012 - This was the first 5k I ever did with my sister in 2011 so we decided to make it tradition :) We had others join us this year and we had a blast. It sprinkled for just a few minutes on us which was sort of fun!

Chris & Jenny Visit
December 30, 2011 - Just a couple of days after Christmas I had surgery on my elbow and wrist. I had carpal tunnel and ulnar nerve release done. Chris & Jenny came to visit and Glenn & Jeri were also here for the winter. They all came over and attempted to make "Isaacs Hamburger Soup". The question posed on Facebook was "How many Dixon's does it take to make Isaacs Hamburger Soup?" Craig's response was, "Only 1 if it's you, Miss!" :) After dinner was done and cleaned we pull out Rock Band for a fun time. Grandpa especially enjoyed it!
5 Generations
December 24, 2011 - At my Nannie's for Christmas Even tonight we took another 5 Generations shot - so amazing that each year the kids have had one more year to hopefully increase their memories of their Great Great Grandma and Great Grandma :) We are so lucky!!!

Sari's Christmas Choir Concert
December 16, 2011 - Sari had her Christmas choir concert tonight. Wow!!! It was amazing to say the least, long but so amazing!!! And Sari looked so beautiful!

December 12, 2011 - Tonight Ashlie had her Christmas dance recital. She looked beautiful and did a great job!!!

December 8, 2011 - Tonight Ashlie had an orchestra concert where the 6th graders were invited to play with the 7th grade orchestra at Valley Oak.

December 6, 2011 - Each year the girls have a Christmas piano recital for family. This year Sari moved to an advanced piano teacher but her previous teacher still let her play at the Christmas recital.
